Software

BM-Link is built for Mac OS X 10.2.2 or newer and relies on iTunes 4 for playing music. Support for playing music from a portable music player connected to the Mac requires iTunes 4.1 or newer.

Audio Master

The combination of a BeoPort box and BM-link software can be used to connect to any kind of Bang & Olufsen Master Link setup, which includes an audio master. The audio master could be, for example, BeoSound 3000, BeoSound 3200, BeoSound 9000 or BeoCenter 2. Also Bang & Olufsen TVs such as the BeoCenter 1 can work as an audio master.

Using BM-Link without an Audio Master

If you don't have a Bang & Olufsen Audio Master you can use BM-Link and the BeoPort box in order to connect a pair of BeoLab speakers to your Macintosh
